Shanghai Jindun has submitted a new heavy-duty foam fire truck for government certification, signaling continued investment in high-capacity firefighting technology. The JDX5370GXFPM180/SD6G model, filed under the company’s Jinshengdun brand, recently appeared in China‘s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s new product announcement.
The vehicle features a total mass of 37,300 kg and a combined extinguishing agent capacity of 18.1 cubic meters — including 15 m³ of water and 3.1 m³ of foam concentrate. This configuration enables sustained suppression operations in large-scale fire scenarios, including high-rise buildings and petrochemical facilities.
The truck is built on a Sinotruk HOWO chassis with ZF EBS electronic braking system, ensuring reliability and safety under demanding conditions. The cab accommodates 2+4 personnel, allowing a complete firefighting crew to respond efficiently.
This new model complements Shanghai Jindun‘s existing portfolio of firefighting vehicles, which already includes compressed air foam systems (CAFS), water tankers, and aerial ladder trucks. For international customers seeking high-capacity foam firefighting capability, this new offering represents a competitive option combining proven chassis technology with substantial agent capacity.
